Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    2 cans tomatoes (whole)
    1 can tomato paste plus 1 can water
    1 onion, chopped
    1 garlic, chopped
    1 pkg. mushrooms, sliced
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning or to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat separately.
    Saute onions, garlic and peppers.
    Add to remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 2 to 3 hours, folding ingredients occasionally.
    Cook pasta al dente.
    Top with sauce.
