Peach Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can Carnation evaporated milk
    1 small chiffon cake, broken into bite-sized pieces
    1 large (No. 2 1/2) can sliced peaches
    1 small box orange jello
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook the peaches (minus 1/4 cup syrup), jello and sugar until well dissolved.
    Add gelatine that has been softened in 1/4 cup peach syrup or water.
    Cool.
