Chocolate Snowball Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cold half and half light cream or milk
    1 pkg. Jell-O instant chocolate pudding and pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) chocolate Cool Whip nondairy whipped topping, thawed
    3 c. chopped chocolate sandwich cookies
    1/2 c. crushed peppermint candies (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip (nondairy)
Preparation
    Pour half and half in large bowl.
    Add pudding mix.
    Beat with wire whisk until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Stir in chocolate whipped topping, cookie crumbs and crushed candies.
    Spoon into 1 1/2-quart bowl.
    Freeze 8 hours or until frozen.
