Ginger Crinkles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco or other
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger (little more)
Preparation
    We like these, so double the recipe.
    Chill in refrigerator. Make into balls (about walnut size or smaller).
    Roll in white sugar.
    Place far apart on a cookie pan.
    Cool some before removing them.
    Keep closed in tight container for soft cookies.
