Red Candied Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    15 apples
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/2 lb. red hots candy
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except apples, in a heavy bottomed pan; bring to hard crack on candy thermometer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and dip apples immediately.
