Dorothy Brown'S Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced peeled apples
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil (I substitute 1 c. applesauce)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
    additional cinnamon (plus 1 tsp.)
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    a little mace
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients, except flour, together.
    Add the flour; mix well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 x 1-inch baking dish.
    Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes (until done when tested) in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    Frost when cool, but slightly warm.
