Scottish Shortbread Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. sugar
    9 oz. plain flour
    6 oz. butter
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; knead in butter to form big ball.
    This should give 24 biscuits.
    Make mixture into smaller balls; place on greased baking sheet.
    Flatten balls with either biscuit stamp or fork in shape of cross.
    Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes, until they start to brown.
    Do not allow mixture to become too wet.
