Chicken Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. dried crushed basil
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, mix chicken broth, onion, basil, oregano, bay leaf and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
    Stir in vegetables.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp.
    Throw away bay leaf.
    Stir in chicken and undrained tomatoes.
    Makes 4 to 6 main dish servings.
