Fruit Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 c. maraschino cherries
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. pecans
    coconut
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Cream eggs and sugar.
    Add dates; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cook; add nuts, cherries, Krispies and flavoring.
    Form into balls.
    Roll in coconut.
    Refrigerate.
