Bigos-Polish Festival Favorite - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    kielbasa, pork or sausage
    cabbage, sliced
    onion, sliced
    apples, sliced
    butter or margarine
    broth
Preparation
    Boil meat to make enough broth to cover about 1 inch of a large pot.
    Layer cabbage, then onions, then apples and dot each layer with butter or margarine.
    Cut up meat and lay on top.
    Continue layers until the meat and vegetables are used.
    Cook on stove on medium heat until cabbage and onions are tender.
