Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 to 1 c. chopped celery
1 whole green pepper
3/4 c. dried red onion
1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked 1 minute, drained and cooled
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. sugar
shredded cheese
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked, cooled and crumbled
Preparation

Shred lettuce in a 9 x 13-inch pan (or glass bowl).
Add the celery, green pepper, red onion and peas in layers.
Cover with mayonnaise, sealing edges.
Sprinkle sugar over top.
Then add shredded cheese and bacon.
Cover and refrigerate 8 hours.
