Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dried small white beans
6 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 chopped onion
1/4 lb. salt pork
Preparation

Pour beans into slow cooking pot; add water.
Soak overnight or at least 6 hours.
Cover pot and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or until beans are tender.
Drain, saving liquid.
Mix 1 cup of liquid with salt, molasses, mustard, brown sugar and onion.
Cut salt pork into 2 or 3 pieces.
In slow cooking pot, combine drained beans with mixture and pork.
Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
