Pecan Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. + 1 Tbsp. plain flour
1/8 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation

Melt butter in 8-inch square pan and set aside.
Combine eggs and flavorings; beat until thickened.
Add sugar; beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt and stir in pecans.
Add to mixture and beat well.
Pour mixture into buttered pan and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until done.
Cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar; cut into 16 squares.
