Ingredients

3 eggs or 5 egg whites
1/4 c. skim milk
3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
vegetable cooking spray
4 (1 oz.) slices whole grain wheat bread
1 tsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a shallow dish, stirring well. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and place over medium heat until hot.
Dip bread slices, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, coating well.
Place 2 bread slices in skillet and cook 4 minutes on each side or until browned.
Repeat procedure with remaining 2 bread slices.
Sprinkle powdered sugar evenly over toast.
Makes 4 servings.
