Oven Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef chuck roast, cut in 1 inch cubes
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    2 cans mushroom soup
    3/4 c. dry red wine
    Kitchen Bouquet or brown gravy sauce
    1 clove fresh garlic, pressed
    black pepper to taste
    1 medium onion, cut in wedges
    2 large carrots, sliced diagonally
Preparation
    In Dutch oven combine beef, soup mix, mushroom soup, wine, garlic and pepper.
    Add Kitchen Bouquet (for color).
    Cover and cook in a 300\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
    Add onion and carrots and cook 1 hour more.
    Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
