Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Duncan Hines Swiss chocolate or German chocolate cake mix
    3 eggs
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
    1 c. water
    1 c. oil
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    (Cooking times will not work if oven is not thoroughly heated.)
    Cut margarine into cake mix, add water, oil and eggs to mixture with 1/2 can of condensed milk.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into a greased and floured long cake pan.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 (should
    not be too gooey or not at all runny). Peel caramels and put in pan with 1/2 can of condensed milk and melt over very low heat.
    Stir in the pecans.
    Pour mixture over the hot cake.
    Add the rest of the cake mix on top of caramel. Bake for 30 minutes.
