Almond Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. plain flour
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. sliced or slivered almonds
    1 stick margarine
    2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
    2 2/3 c. milk
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Melt margarine; pour over first 4 ingredients (in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish) and bake about 45 minutes, stirring often. (This burns easily.) Cool. Mix together vanilla pudding and milk. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread the baked mixture evenly in the baking dish (saving about 3/4 cup for topping), then pour pudding mixture over this. Sprinkle the saved baked mixture on top, then refrigerate.
