Fried Pie Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) can Carnation milk
3/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients.
Cut shortening into flour mixture. Beat together the egg and the milk.
Add egg-milk mixture to flour mixture.
Roll out and cut the size of a saucer.
Fill with fruit.
Fold over into half moon and use pastry brush to brush edges with cream.
Seal edges.
