Claire'S Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5-oz) pkg. Uncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice
    1 onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. cooked chicken
    1 (3-oz.) pkg sliced blanched almonds
    2 (16-oz.) cans French-style green beans, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 (8-oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
    1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Prepare rice according to package directions, shortening cooking time by 5 minutes.
    Saute onion in melted butter.
    Combine rice and onion with remaining ingredients.
    Pour into a buttered (3-quart) baking dish.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
