Homemade Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease large baking sheet and set aside.
    Use a pastry blender to cut butter into flour until it resembles corn meal; add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.
    Do not overmix.
    Drop by rounded tablespoons, 2-inches apart on baking sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 18 biscuits.
