Black Forest Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large fresh or thawed frozen pitted cherries (no sugar added)
    3/4 c. thawed nondairy whipped topping, divided
    2 c. skim or nonfat milk
    1 (4-serving) envelope reduced calorie instant chocolate pudding mix
    4 maraschino cherries with stems
Preparation
    In small mixing bowl combine the fresh or frozen cherries and 1/2 cup whipped topping; set aside.
    Using 2 cups milk, prepare pudding according to package directions but do not chill.
