Poke Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 small pkg. cherry Jell-O
    3/4 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. cold water
Preparation
    Bake yellow cake mix in a 9 x 13-inch pan as directed on box. While cake is baking, prepare cherry Jell-O with boiling water and cold water.
    Let Jell-O stand at room temperature while cake is cooking.
    When cake is done, remove from oven and poke holes into it with a fork.
    Pour cherry jelly mixture over top and refrigerate.
    Serve with whipped cream.
