Crunchy Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. boiling water
    9 c. water
    2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice or pineapple-orange drink (such as Hi-C)
    8 oz. lemon juice
    7-Up, ginger ale or other lemon-lime drink
    4 c. sugar
    3 small pkg. cherry or other red gelatin
    1 oz. bottle almond extract
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar and gelatin in boiling water.
    Add additional water and mix.
    Add rest of ingredients except 7-Up.
    Freeze overnight or longer.
    At time of serving, remove from freezer 1 hour prior to serving (if not too hot) and add ginger ale, 7-Up, etc., to make as many servings as you need.
    Mixture can be refrozen.
    Serves up to 50 punch servings.
