Strawberry Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 pkg. strawberry jello
1 1/2 pt. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
2 baked pie shells
Preparation

In a medium boiler, combine sugar, salt and jello.
Dissolve cornstarch in 1 1/2 cups of hot water.
Pour in boiler with dry ingredients and cook over medium heat until sugar and jello are dissolved (stir constantly).
Drain strawberries and place in bottom of pie crusts.
Pour liquid mixture into crusts.
Chill. Top with whipped cream or Dream Whip.
