The Six Week Muffin(Old Family Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Raisin Bran cereal (15 oz.)
    2 c. granulated sugar
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. Crisco, melted
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs to buttermilk and melted shortening. Combine with dry mixture.
    Store in refrigerator. When ready for muffins, pour enough batter to fill muffin tins. Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Will keep 6 weeks in refrigerator.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen muffins.
