Glazed Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 large jar maraschino cherries
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
    3 or 4 sliced bananas
Preparation
    Drain juice off fruit and keep; add enough water (if needed) to make 1 cup.
    Combine pineapple, oranges and cherries.
    Set aside.
    Mix pudding with juice and cook until thickens.
    While hot, pour over fruit and chill.
    Before serving, add sliced bananas.
