Broccoli Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. broccoli
2 (12 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
3 c. milk
1 c. chopped ham
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. light cream
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Cook broccoli in one-half of the chicken broth until tender. Chop up broccoli.
Add remaining chicken broth, milk, ham, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring several times.
Add remaining ingredients and broccoli.
Heat to serving temperature.
Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
