Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar packed
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt margarine, remove from heat, and blend in sugar and egg. Sift the dry ingredients, and add to the mixture. Add vanilla and nuts.
    Spread in greased 8 inch pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
    Do not overbake.
    Make 16 - 2 inch brownies.
