Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 stick melted butter
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients together.
    When well mixed, pour in pecans.
    Stir well.
    Pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Pie is done when crust is brown and edge of filling is set.
