Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fine bread crumbs
    3 c. sliced ripe tomatoes
    1/3 c. thinly sliced onions
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 strips bacon
Preparation
    Layer bread crumbs (in bottom of buttered 9-inch pie plate; save 1/2 of bread crumbs for top), tomatoes, onions and cheese. Repeat.
    Pour beaten eggs over top and remainder of bread crumbs and top with bacon.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Good summertime recipe.
