Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. dry bread crumbs or crackers
    2 tsp. salt
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    3/4 c. milk
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk, ketchup, onion, salt and pepper.
    Add dry crumbs and let soak a few minutes.
    Add sausage and beef; mix lightly.
    Shape into 2 loaves on a shallow baking pan.
    Ketchup can be spread on top, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
    Can be frozen satisfactorily.
