Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 lean pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 c. sour cream
thyme
Preparation

Brown chops and arrange in baking pan.
Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Combine soup, water and thyme.
Heat, then add parsley, sour cream and half of the onions.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour sauce over chops.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until tender.
Remove cover; sprinkle remaining onions over the top and bake 5 minutes more.
Serve with baked potato and tossed salad.
