Sherry'S Hot Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/8 medium head cabbage, chopped
1/4 head iceberg lettuce, rinsed, dried and chopped
3/8 green bell pepper, chopped
3/8 onion, chopped
3/4 tomatoes, chopped
3/8 (20 oz.) bottle ketchup
1/3 c. and 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
1/3 c. and 1 Tbsp. white sugar
1 1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine the vinegar and sugar. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and refrigerate until chilled.
