Mincemeat Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. tongue or lean meat
1 1/2 lb. suet
8 large meaty apples
2 lb. seedless raisins
2 lb. sugar
1/2 pt. rose water
1 qt. cooking sherry wine
2 lb. currants
1 lb. citron
1 1/4 lb. candied lemon peel
2 grated nutmegs
2 lemons (peel and juice, grated)
2 oranges (peel and juice, grated)
Preparation

Double the apples, improves the pies.
Some folks prefer other wines.
