Gary'S Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. melted margarine or butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 green onions or 1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (reserving 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with jackets in water with a bay leaf.
    Cool, peel and shred in bowl.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Add to potatoes.
    Bake in greased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Top with remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes.
    Bake 10 minutes longer.
