Swedish Coffee Loaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    2/3 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. ground cardamom
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. scalded milk
    1 large egg
    4 c. flour
    3/4 c. raisins
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. almonds
Preparation
    In a food processor with a metal blade, add the yeast, butter, sugar, cardamom, salt and egg.
    Add 3 1/2 cups flour and pulse to crumble the butter and blend the egg.
    Add the raisins and water. With the food processor still running, add the cooled milk through the feed tube.
    Process to form a ball.
    Add more flour, if necessary, and process to form a smooth and elastic dough, approximately 50 seconds.
