Pistachio Surprise - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. walnuts
1 c. flour
1 stick melted margarine
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
2 c. Cool Whip
2 (3 oz.) pkg. pistachio pudding (instant)
3 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes; let cool. Blend cream cheese and sugar. Add 1 cup Cool Whip and spread on crust. Beat milk and pudding for 2 minutes. Pour over cream cheese layer. Top with rest of Cool Whip and garnish with chopped nuts. (Any pudding can be substituted including sugar-free as well as fat-free cream cheese.) Use fresh strawberries with strawberry pudding.
