Beef Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 cans tomato soup
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. noodles
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook and drain noodles.
    Brown beef with onion and drain fat. To beef, add soup, pepper, sugar, salt and water and mix.
    Stir in noodles.
    Stir in cheese.
    Put in lightly greased casserole.
