Mahogany Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    4 Tbsp. cold coffee
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Mix flour, soda, salt and cocoa.
    Add half of buttermilk with flour mix.
    Add other buttermilk and flour with cold coffee.
    Beat well.
    Bake 3 layers in 9-inch pans at 350\u00b0.
