Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar together; beat until fluffy.
    Add
    eggs\tand
    beat
    1 minute.
    Add flour mixed with baking powder
    and\tsalt
    to creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
    Beat
    until smooth.\tAdd flavorings and mix well.
    Bake in 3 layer
    cake
    pans
    that have been greased and floured, at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool.
