Stuff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef roast
    2 carrots
    2 celery stalks
    1 big onion
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Coat beef roast with flour and brown in oil.
    Pour off oil and add water and the rest of the ingredients.
    Bring to a boil and simmer until done, about 3 or 4 hours.
    Remove beef and vegetables from broth.
    Remove fat from broth, leaving about 1 quart broth. Add can undiluted mushroom soup.
    Mix and return to simmer. Return beef and vegetables to pot and heat until hot.
    Serve over sliced bread for open face sandwiches.
