Soft Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, then the dry ingredients.
    Chill
    dough for 1 hour.
    Roll out; cut cookies and bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
