Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1 lb. bulk sausage
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour (as for biscuits).
    Stir in milk. Pat dough out into about 1/4-inch thick rectangle on a piece of floured waxed paper.
    Spread uncooked sausage evenly onto dough. Roll up like jelly roll.
    Cut into slices and bake on ungreased pan at 425\u00b0 until brown.
