Cheese And Carrot Scallop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium carrots, sliced
    1/4 c. butter
    1 small onion
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. mustard
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 (8 oz.) sliced American cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook carrots until tender.
    In saucepan, melt butter.
    Add onions until tender.
    Stir in flour until smooth.
    Stir in milk and mix the next 4 ingredients.
    Cook until mixture becomes thick.
    In another saucepan, melt butter and add bread crumbs.
    Lightly grease casserole pan; add carrots, then cheese.
    Repeat; at the end, top with bread crumbs.
    Bake.
