Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
6 large, ripe bananas
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
Preparation

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs.
Mash bananas in electric mixer.
Add all remaining ingredients, including the bananas, to the creamed mixture.
Mix well and pour into 3 greased and floured loaf pans (3 x 7-inch).
Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 40 to 60 minutes, depending on oven.
Cool on cookie racks.
