Strawberry Short Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. strawberry angel food cake mix
2 Tbsp. grated orange peel
1 1/2 qt. sliced strawberries
1 c. sugar
2 c. chilled whipped cream
1/4 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Prepare cake as directed on box.
Fold in orange peel.
Bake as directed.
Toss berries with the cup of sugar.
Let stand 1 hour.
Beat whipping cream with the 1/4 cup of sugar in a chilled bowl until stiffened.
Cut the cake in slices. Top each slice with the strawberry and cream mixture.
Makes 12 servings.
