Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. cut up, ripe bananas
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Measure flour, wheat germ, baking soda and salt into a large bowl; stir to blend.
In a bowl of food processor, combine the eggs, bananas, honey, vegetable oil, lemon juice and vanilla until well blended.
Pour over flour mixture.
Add walnuts.
Stir with rubber spatula just until blended.
Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until sides pull away from pan and pick inserted in center comes out clean (about 45 to 55 minutes).
Cool on rack before removing from pan.
Makes one 8 x 5 x 3-inch loaf.
