Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 large or 4 small egg whites
4 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 Tbsp. cream of tartar or 4 Tbsp. white Karo syrup

Preparation

Beat all ingredients together over boiling water.
Beat 7 minutes.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
