Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 tsp. chopped fresh cilantro
    2 c. rich beef broth
    1 c. long grain rice
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped tomato (fresh or canned)
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in nonstick skillet.
    Add onion and cook over medium heat until soft.
    Add garlic.
    Cook 2 minutes longer.
    Add raw rice.
    Turn up heat and stir and cook until rice begins to become opaquely white and onion begins to brown.
    Add tomato and cilantro.
    Stir until combined with rice mixture.
    Add beef broth. Turn up heat and cook until broth comes to a boil.
    Cover.
    Turn heat down to simmer and cook for about 20 minutes until rice is done.
