Swedish Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, including juice
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine the first 7 ingredients by hand and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Combine remaining ingredients and cream them well.
    Ice with the frosting and refrigerate.
    It is better if it sets overnight and is served the following day.
    It keeps well.
